• Well, in many cases, the phrases they're highlighting are simply redundant. To pick an obvious example, "due to the fact that". No need to add "the fact that" to the end there. And instead of "in order to" just "to" is good.

    Others are illogical phrases. For example "very unique". There are no degrees of unique. Something is either unique, or it's not.

    Some of them have stumped me a bit though… "Uncertain future" is kind of a cliche, I guess? I'm not sure what's wrong with "introduced a new" either. I guess if you're introducing something, it's newness is implied though. Those are really the only two phrases I might actually use.
